The Best Rose Bath Soap

An international fashion model headed through the snowdrifts of the Bealach na ba this week to visit Tracey Phillips, of Applecross Aromatics, who makes soap and other beauty products at her home.
“I had heard of the amazing soap created by Tracey, so when I found I was nearby I just had to check it out,” said model Erika Mash.
The Bealach na ba had been closed for days, but just opened in time for Erika to get over to Applecross. However, first she had to do a fashion shoot for a local designer of Knitwear in the snow drifts at 2,000 feet.
“It is just as well that lady also makes thick wool socks, because I needed them up there in the clouds and strong wind,” said Ms Mash.
Back down at sea level in Applecross Erika met up with mother-of-two. Tracey, who manages to make the soap in her kitchen between meals.
She has an ever-expanding list of clients throughout the UK and beyond, despite her remote location.”I’m amazed at what Tracey manages to create at home,” said Erika. “You know exactly what’s in the soap, but it’s so attractive and beautifully presented too. It never fails to amaze me what’s produced in remote parts of the Highlands”.
